Expert Knowledge

Our team of technicians, fabricators, designers, and engineers come together to provide "real world" answers to challenges.

Computer-Aided Design

PROs Tuning utilizes the latest in licensed Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to go from hand-drawn ideas into a workable computer 3D image.

Our staff consists of designers with experience in SolidWORKS, Autodesk AutoCAD and Fusion 360, and Mastercam. We can work with existing files to kick-start your production or work with you on design from the beginning.

We also leverage emerging technologies such as photogrammetry and 3D scanning to make parts that were once impossible for consumers to replicate without the most expensive of equipment.

Rapid Prototyping

We utilize enthusiast/prosumer-grade 3D printing equipment to rapidly turn a CAD drawing into a physical proof-of-concept.

Equipment on-site include both Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) or Stereolithography Apparatus (SLA) printers.

This allows us to test fit parts and components before moving into more expensive CNC milling or production. This both ensures the final product will be what you desire while also saving precious time and money.

Our FDM printer is also capable of printing in materials that are heat and chemical resistant (ABS, Nylon, etc.) - perfect for in-car applications.

Machine Shop

At the heart of our production is our Kitamura Mycenter 1XiF vertical milling machine. This machine boasts the capability of a 20"x14"x18.1" (X/Y/Z) work surface with a 30-position tool changer. Our expertise allows us to quickly and efficiently dial in toolpaths, feeds and speeds, and process workflow for any part we make.

We also utilize a Langmuir Systems Crossfire CNC plasma table - perfect for sheet metal parts. This allows us to quickly produce flat parts and accessories without the need for expensive and time-consuming fixturing. For many parts (such as boxed-in suspension components), it's often very economical to cut the flat components and weld them into one assembly.

In addition to the CNC machinery, we also have:
- Bridgeport-style mill
- Manual lathe
- TIG/MIG welders
- Press brake
- Do-all industrial band saw
- Metal sheet cutter
- Pipe/tubing bender

Expert Knowledge

Engineering and textbook knowledge are half the battle - the other half is years of hands-on expertise. Our staff consists of seasoned industry personnel who have experienced both the successes and failures of a wide range of parts, manufacturing methods, and materials - and continuously improved on each instance.

Any project becomes an opportunity to learn - for both the staff and the customers. We pride ourselves on being called upon to solve new challenges and unknowns. We work with customers to develop, prototype, and produce things no matter how imaginative.
